I am a political scientist with a background in statistics pursuing a Ph.D. at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. In Fall 2024, I am a visiting Ph.D. student at Duke University. For my dissertation, I study how coalition governments behave in the policy-making process of the European Union. To this end, I analyze legislative speeches and votes in the Council of the EU and the European Parliament.

In addition, I contribute to Frank Schimmelfennig's ERC-funded project EUROBORD for which we study the EU and the (dis)integration process from a bordering perspective.
